| Duties | Student will have the opportunity to work on Municipal Appeals and the option of working on petitions for post conviction relief, and motions. Student will also be responsible for administrative work as needed (such as filing, answering phones and interacting with attorneys when no one else is available to do so). Student will also have the opportunity to freely converse with the Judge on legal issues when he is available and observe the different criminal procedures that go on within the court room. Student will research and write memorandums of law on the assigned legal issues. | |

The cases include regular active criminal files, petitions for post conviction relief, KROLS and Municipal Appeals. Chambers has a family type relationship and all members work as a team. | |
| Time requirements | Very flexible but prefers a student that can come in for full days or half days (not an hour a day because it is not conducive to learning or producing the work required by chambers). 10 hours a week a minimum. | |
| Position requirements | Student preferably would have taken advanced writing course (or a course with writing credits). Preferably a 3.0 or higher CUM GPA. Prior legal work experience not required but preferred. Must be eager to work and have a team player mentality. | |
